The Pathway
You came through an open gate. The path leads you, in time, to open them for others. Here's the journey — and your next step, wherever you are on it.
The Open Gate
You've arrived, and you're welcome here. Just a place at the table — the way in is already open, you only have to walk through.
Your next step: say hello. Plan your first visit, and let us know you're coming so we can put a name to your face. Come and see.
Deeply Planted
Belonging isn't standing at the back — it's being planted in good soil, among people who know you. This is where you stop being a visitor and start being part of the house.
Your next step: come to a Welcome Lunch to hear our story, and join a Connect Group so your roots go down. Join in.
Just mention “Welcome Lunch” or “Connect Group” in your message so we know how to help.
Reaching Higher
Faith that's planted starts to reach — up toward God and out toward others. This is the ongoing work of growing: baptism, a rhythm of life that keeps stretching you, and getting on a team. You don't wait until you've “arrived” to serve — joining a team is one of the ways you grow.
Your next step: get baptised if you haven't yet, keep a Connect Group rhythm, and join a team. Jump into courses when they're offered. Ask questions, explore, contribute.
Just mention “Baptism”, “Serving” or “Connect Group” in your message so we know how to help.
Opening Gates
Someone held the gate open for you. Now you're the one holding it open for others. A tended garden isn't kept behind a locked fence — it's a place people are invited into, to find shade, shelter, beauty, or a meal, whatever they came needing. In your work, your street, your family, your friendships, you become the warm way-in for people who'd never think to come looking. Every gate you open becomes someone else's open gate. That's how the garden grows.
Your next step isn't a form to fill in — it's a way to live. Be the way-in where you already are, walk with someone a step behind you, and make room for the next person the way room was made for you. Or maybe, join the great mission and help plant new gardens.
How it holds together
The three values aren't stages you graduate out of — they overlap. Deeply Planted is both the fruit of being loved and the start of growing. Reaching Higher is both growing up and being sent out. You never leave Love behind to Grow; you never stop Growing when you're Sent. It's a rope, not a ladder.
And it doesn't end — it loops. The last step, Opening Gates, leads straight back to someone else's Open Gate. The welcomed become the welcomers.
Now you open them.
