Your questions, answered
Everything you need to know before your first Sunday.
What should I expect on my first visit?
Expect a warm, relaxed welcome. C3 Burwood is a friendly church family, so you won't get lost in a crowd — but nobody will put you on the spot either. Our services include contemporary worship music and a practical message from the Bible. Come as you are; there's no dress code.
What time are your Sunday services?
We meet every Sunday at 10am. The service usually runs for about 90 minutes , and you're welcome to arrive from 9:45am for a coffee and a chat before we start.
Where are you located?
We meet at Level 1, 230 Liverpool Road, Enfield NSW 2136 — in Sydney's Inner West, close to Burwood, Strathfield, Croydon Park, and Ashfield. Look for the entrance on Liverpool Road and head upstairs.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available via Cobden Street, Enfield, behind the building , and street parking is also available nearby on Sunday mornings.
How do I get there by public transport?
Buses run along Liverpool Road with stops close to the church . The nearest train stations are Strathfield and Burwood, both a short bus or ride-share trip away.
Is there a program for children?
Yes. C3 Kids runs during the Sunday service for children , with age-appropriate Bible teaching, games, and craft in a safe, supervised environment under C3's Safe Church policy.
Is there a youth group?
Yes. Kingdom Come Youth is for school years 6 to 12 and meets every second Sunday during the 10am service (during school terms) for games, food, friendship, and real conversations about faith and life. All our youth leaders hold a valid Working With Children Check, and we operate under C3's Safe Church policy. New faces are always welcome — your teenager can come along with a friend or on their own.
What kind of church is C3 Burwood?
C3 Burwood is a contemporary Pentecostal church and part of the C3 Church Global movement, which began in Sydney in 1980. We are Bible-centred and Spirit-filled: we believe in the power of God's Word, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the local church as a family where people know Jesus, find community, and discover purpose.
Who is the pastor?
Our Senior Pastor is Joel Reid, who leads the church together with his wife Vanessa. Joel's preaching is Bible-focused and practical, helping everyday people apply God's Word to real life.
Do I have to be a Christian to come?
Not at all. Many people come to C3 Burwood while they're still exploring faith and questions about God. You're welcome to simply sit, listen, and take things at your own pace. Nobody will ask you to give money, and you won't be singled out.
What happens beyond Sundays?
Church life happens through the week as well as on Sundays. We run connect groups that meet in homes across the Inner West, and through Burwood Cares, our community care arm, we serve practical needs in the local area.
How do I contact the church?
Email us at [email protected], call 0480 485 591, or just come along on Sunday at 10am — Level 1, 230 Liverpool Road, Enfield.
